Lisa started The Military Travelers Facebook group as a way to share her excitement about military perks after her mom shared the news that annual fees for Chase, American Express and Citi were waived for active duty service members AND their spouses. After redeeming a free weekend at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City, Utah, she never looked back.
Lisa started teaching Amy on her basement floor when they met in Kansas. Amy was able to redeem a free weekend at the Grand Hyatt in Vail, Colorado and was hooked from that point on.
Taryn was a huge contributor in the Facebook group and in true military life fashion, Lisa and Amy picked her up to help with the group but have yet to actually meet her in person! (IYKYK). But don't worry, we're planning an epic meet up in August of 2024 when we see the one and only Taylor Swift at The Era's Tour in Europe!
What started as a passion for travel that didn't break the bank has turned into a love of sharing this knowledge with others.
